Between dramatic gasps, she replied, “I… I think I’m having a heart attack!” That was all it took. He grabbed the phone immediately, hands trembling as he began dialing emergency services. His mind raced through worst-case scenarios. This wasn’t how he expected the day to go. He was seconds away from calling for an ambulance.
Before he could finish dialing, their young son burst into the room, eyes wide. “Dad! Dad!” he shouted urgently. “Uncle Mike is in your closet—and he doesn’t have any clothes on!” The husband froze mid-call, staring at his son in disbelief. For a moment, he couldn’t even process what he had just heard.
Slowly, he walked over to the closet, opened the door, and there stood Uncle Mike—completely naked—trying to hide behind a row of jackets. The husband’s shock quickly turned into outrage. He spun around, looking from his wife to his brother, utterly confused by the chaos unfolding in his own home.
Finally, he threw his hands up and yelled, “This is unbelievable! I’m trying to save your life and Mike is running around naked scaring the kids?!” And just like that, the tension flips into absurdity. Sometimes the funniest jokes are the ones that build up suspense—only to derail it in the most ridiculous way possible.
