The woman, who had gone through multiple abusive relationships and was being pursued by one of her
ex-boyfriends, a man with mental health issues, dreamed of having a place just for herself and her children, a safe place where they could start their lives anew.
Cara Brookins from Arkansas, a mother of four, amazed the world by building a house on her own, using tutorials from YouTube.
She didn’t have the money to buy a house, so she decided to build one herself, even though she had no prior experience in construction.
“Both my kids and I needed this,” Cara confessed.
